King David wrote about our Creator, Jehovah: “Trust in him at all times, O people. Before him pour out your heart. God is a refuge for us.” In all the distressing situations that he lived through, David always prayed to God for help, and Jehovah always came to his aid. David knew from experience that God would support him and help him to endure. You need to know that Jehovah will sustain you through your intense sadness, just as he did David. You can approach the great “Hearer of prayer,” trusting that he will give you help. Psalm 62:8, 65:2
